Getting Ready with the Bride
Beginning the day, I captured Chloé while she prepared with her mother and sister for the mass. This getting-ready time was heartwarmingly intimate. It was easy to see how relaxed and excited Chloé felt for the occasion.
One of the sweetest moments happened while Chloé’s mom put on Chloé’s makeup. Chloé shared that her mom had done her makeup for every event growing up, so it felt right that she did it for her wedding day, too. It was an honor to document this special relationship through a Catholic Wedding Video that Chloé can revisit year after year.
Chloé and Eric’s Catholic Wedding Mass
Chloé and Eric’s wedding mass at Holy Spirit Catholic Church was full of friends and family. In fact, the wedding party alone amounted to 19 total bridesmaids, groomsmen, and flower girls! One of my favorite details from this parish was its Rosary garden. It was the perfect setting for a quiet and charming first look before mass began.
Partying with the Bride and Groom
Chloé, Eric, and their bridal party were ready to celebrate after the wedding mass. The cocktail hour at Queen’s Harbour Country Club offered guests ample space to chat, hang out at the bar, and explore the grounds. There was plenty to enjoy before the bride and groom arrived at the venue—some guests even joined together to play a popular card game (“Magic the Gathering”)!
At dinnertime, Chloé’s dad and sister delivered touching, yet comical, toasts. Eric’s best man gave one of the best speeches Four Loves Photo and Film has ever heard at a wedding, ever!
After guests finished their meals, DJ Jeff Bell opened the dance floor to get the party started. There were hats, maracas, glowsticks and more flying around the dance floor. Every guest from the grandmothers to the crawling babies spent time dancing with the bride and groom.
