Catholic Wedding at Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta, GA | Natalie and Braxton

October 14, 2026

Natalie and Braxton celebrated a vibrant summer wedding day in Atlanta, Georgia, surrounded by friends and family. The day couldn’t have been more perfect with the Catholic wedding at the Cathedral of Christ the King, the reception at an exclusive venue, the hand-picked florals, charming rainy-weather portraits, and so many other heartfelt details. This was the type of wedding you can’t wait to tell everyone about!

The couple sought out Four Loves Photo and Film to deliver both photography and videography of the big day. Their final package included a full wedding photo gallery, film photos, a feature wedding film, RAW footage, and a reception highlight edit.

There is something extra special about getting married in the grandeur of a church like the Cathedral of Christ the King. The ornate tabernacle, marble floors, and beautifully-crafted stone statues made a stunning wedding vow backdrop. Multiple priests came together to celebrate the wedding mass for Natalie and Braxton.

One of my favorite details about this cathedral in downtown Atlanta was the huge stained-glass windows. All of the artwork and craftsmanship throughout the church glorified God, and it was beautiful to witness.

Another special detail from this Catholic wedding was a gift that Braxton surprised Natalie with during the Nuptial Mass. Braxton bought a chalice from Poland (Natalie is of Polish descent) to be blessed and used as the chalice at the wedding mass. The priest announced the gift to the congregation and consecrated the Eucharist in it. It is now the couple’s family chalice (it can only and will only be used as a chalice at mass, not for any other purpose).

Natalie and Braxton’s Family Chalice, blessed by the priest celebrant and used at their wedding mass.

The bride, Natalie, was the florist for her own wedding day, and I was so impressed! She created beautifully vibrant bouquets of professional quality. Of course, the bouquets were every bit extra special because she spent the time building them by hand for herself and each bridesmaid.

The couple enjoyed a lovely morning with blue skies and sunshine. We captured getting-ready photos in this great perfect weather. After the wedding mass at the Cathedral of Christ the King, the rain showers rolled in. However, this change in the weather helped us capture some charming rainy-day portraits of the couple. The moody sky made the couple and their wedding colors all-the-more vibrant!

Natalie and Braxton hosted a very elegant wedding reception at the exclusive Capital City Club venue. The historical building featured a charming cocktail area and stunning grand ballroom for the wedding guests.

Besides the classy venue, Natalie and Braxton’s wedding reception stood out for the many friends and family who made the evening extra special. One of the priest celebrants from the wedding mass gave Natalie and Braxton a special Papal Blessing of their new marriage. Natalie’s mother delivered a special Polish Blessing before the meal. It was a joy to capture these timeless moments on photo and film for the couple.

Another fun detail to capture was the choreographed dance that Natalie and Braxton shared for their first dance together as a married couple.
