Favorite Catholic Weddings of 2025, from a Catholic Wedding Photographer

January 30, 2026

Last year was an abundant year of blessings between moving into a new home, giving birth to my second child, and—of course—capturing nearly 20 Catholic weddings across the country. Here is a brief list to share just a few of my favorite weddings from the year.

Keia and Davis’ wedding day in Boston was nothing short of stunning. Every detail of this day exuded elegance and intentionality. However, one huge detail took the cake as the most jaw-dropping, and that was the Cathedral of the Holy Cross. It was an awe-inspiring experience to witness the historical architecture alongside a Traditional Latin Catholic Mass. It also made the perfect backdrop for the dramatic, romantic wedding video that the bride requested! Check out their Catholic Wedding video teaser below:

Justine and John and Teagan and Thomas celebrated their nuptial masses at the gorgeous cathedral in downtown Orlando. We loved the stained glass around the church, especially the large window over the choir balacony.

Outdoor venues are often a gamble in Florida, but the weather was absolutely perfect for Mark and Jenna’s wedding reception at the Treehouse Vero Beach in Florida. There was ample space for guests to explore the grounds, which included a flower garden, fire pit, bar, yard games, and dozens of beautiful oak and palm trees. After sundown, the market lights brought the whole area together under a cozy glow.

Another special feature of this venue was the private dock we had access to. Secluded from the rest of the wedding reception scene, this couple was able to enjoy a quiet bridal portrait session.

Justine and John‘s wedding reception was as elegant as their wedding mass at the St. James Cathedral. We loved the fairytale feeling of the JW Marriot Orlando Grande Lakes venue, which made for a magical grand exit photo.

Surrounded by views of the city, Teagan and Thomas‘ wedding reception at Citrus Club was bright, classy, and all-around a blast to be at. The venue was gorgeous and the wedding guests were ready to party. We may have joined in on the dancing for a little bit!

Justine and John employed the stunning craftsmanship of Pieta Paperie for their Catholic wedding in Orlando, FL. Besides the overall elegance of the design, these wedding invitations featured distinctly Catholic artwork inside the envelope. This Catholic stationary truly set the tone for a magnificent wedding day.

Pieta Paperie is my all-time favorite stationer for Catholic couples. In 2024, I photographed Cassie and Kyle’s wedding, which also used Pieta Paperie products!

I never say ‘no’ to trip out west—I love the mountains—and this desert wedding location was striking. While I had been to New Mexico before, this was my first trip to Albuquerque. Being cradled by greenery and mountains there gave the entire wedding day a magical quality.

Catholic weddings are effortlessly beautiful when it’s clear that God is at the center of the sacrament. It is an incredible blessing to capture this beauty for married couples, and I can’t wait to see the love stories we’ll capture in 2026!
