The celebration of their marriage continued in Orlando, where the couple hosted a reception at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes. From the bright beachside ceremony to the elegant evening reception in central Florida, we captured every sacred moment of Allie and Eric’s day.
Prayerful Preparations
Marriage, like any sacrament in the Catholic Church, calls for preparation. For Catholic couples, this translates to months of marriage preparation classes or meetings with mentors. On the day of their wedding, Allie and Eric continued their preparation by reading handwritten letters, praying with family, and stealing a few solitary moments of reflection. It was a joy to document how Allie and Eric cultivated space in their hearts to receive the graces of the sacrament ahead of them.
We captured staple moments like the bride’s mother buttoning her gown and the groom buttoning his jacket, but as a Catholic wedding vendor, we also made sure to document those prayerful vignettes leading up to the altar.
The Heart of the Sacrament
Allie and Eric chose a beautiful Catholic Church just minutes from the beach. The naturally sunlit sanctuary of the church and salty air pointed all your senses to the beauty of God’s creation. Outside the church, a warm ocean breeze helped us frame several stunning shots of Allie’s dress and veil.
The physical layout of this church allowed us to capture a fuller view of the bride and groom and their guests. The grandparents smiling, the mothers holding tissues, the best friends beaming with approval—all these reactions and more create heartfelt memories for the couple to look back on after their wedding day. We loved the semi-circle design of this church for including these moments among the full scope of the wedding mass. At the same time, we took care to focus on pivotal moments such as vows, consecration, and Marian devotion.
Catholic Wedding Traditions and Classic Receptions
Following the couple’s beachside wedding mass, we traveled to the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes in Orlando to document their upscale wedding reception. From the stringed marketplace lights to the live Bay Kings Band on stage, every detail of this venue set an elegant tone. We loved capturing these timeless details for the couple to treasure forever.
